Description
I call them invisible. Theye are the people who we pass by everyday, annoyed by their mere presence, as if they were some kind of uwanted garbage of the society... but the truth is, we want them to be invisible, pretend not to see them, cause unconsciously deep down inside each and everyone of us knows he can be on the invisible side one day, struggling to get another day by.

Thank you for sharing this photograph. Your ability, whether you realise it or not, to take shots that just scream "social commentry" is just awe inspiring. You are quite right in the societies we now live in age is "taboo" as none of us will ever be there!!! The respect warranted to the older generation for their knowledge and stories, that gave us a persception of why we are where we are, and like we are, sadly have long gone. This picture fills me with sadness and even the dog seems perplexed by its owners slowness and its own inability to do anything about it. The fact it is in black and white enhances the message. The ladys clothing and posture speak of a low income and a weariness of another struggle through another day - she herself may not perceive life this way and I truly hope not.
Thanks again for a shot I find thought provoking, a little unsettling, as it makes me aware that I too sometimes find it easier to not see this side of our society, but you know it's always there in the corner of your eye. I have also taken, as I do from all good shots, inspiration and knowledge.
